NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Deal for the following concessions at the Borough Hall, 190 Norwood Avenue at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at which time they shall be opened and read aloud.
Operation of the W. Stanley Conover Pavilion Snack Bar
Rental of the W. Stanley Conover Pavilion Snack Bar located on Ocean Avenue at Phillips Avenue. Successful bidder will open, maintain and operate the Snack Bar Concession at the W. Stanley Conover Pavilion from the opening day in May through Labor Day. Bids must be submitted on forms prepared by the Borough of Deal and be submitted in an envelope marked “W. Stanley Conover Snack Bar” and must include the name and address of the Bidder. Bids to be presented for a one (1) year period 2023 with optional years through 2027 as indicated.
All Bids must be delivered to the Borough Clerk’s office in Borough Hall, 190 Norwood Avenue, Deal NJ 07723 no later than 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 8, 2022. The specifications are available in the office of the Administrator of the Borough of Deal, New Jersey during regular business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bid specifications may be requested by emailing Stephen Carasia at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 732-531-1454.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (P.L. 1975, c.127, Affirmative Action); Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et.seq.), P.L. 1977, c. 33, and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with his bid, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. and submit proof of business registration and in accordance with the act.
The Borough of Deal reserves the right to hold any bid or proposal for sixty (60) days before accepting or rejecting the same and may accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any or all informalities or technicalities if in the best interest of the Borough.
